Choosing the right ski boots and liners can be tricky.

But it’s important to get right.

The saying goes “You marry your boots, you date your skis.”

In this article, we are going to cover the best ski boot liners for this season.

The Best Ski Boot Liners for 2021

1) ZipFit Ski Boot Liners

Topping the chart is ZipFit.

ZipFit, unlike other liners, uses a self-molding cork composite. The main benefit of this cork means that these liners come prepacked. So unlike those traditional foam liners you’ve had in the past, these liners will not pack out after 30 days.

Further, the cork composite is injectable letting you adjust the fit of the liner over time by injecting more cork. These liners also feature a power strap that helps reduce the need for over-tightening your boots. Combine this power strap with an asymmetrical tongue spoiler and your feet are nicely protected from the rough parts of your shell. It’s common to find athletes on the Freeride World Tour wearing ZipFits.

ZipFit offers four different products so that you can find the perfect liner for your specific foot and the type of skiing you like to do. While these liners are not cheap at $450, they will outlast your shell.

(Liners are only part of the equation. For optimal comfort, make sure you ski boots fit correctly.)

2) Intuition Liners

Intuition liners are the most popular aftermarket liner that also comes specced in a handful of boots.

They set the standard for wrapped liners that remove the need for a tongue. Famous for a blend of low and high-density foams these liners are elastic, resilient, tempered, and tough.

These liners are heat-moldable and re-moldable meaning that once you pack them out you can remold them to add some life back into them.

Intuition offers multiple types of liners both wrapped and traditional tongue style. These liners are cheaper than ZipFit starting at $160. They will not last as long but are a great option if you are looking for something a little cheaper.

3) Surefoot Liners

Surefoot has been a leading player in the boot fitting game for a while now and it makes sense that they offer their own brand of liners

They offer three different liners in their Contura series. They fit in any boot and use memory foam to form to your foot. You can also get a heated toe element to keep your feet warm on those bitter cold days.

These liners are great if you have cold feet and want a BlueTooth compatible heating element in your boot. At $425 these liners are not cheap either. But there is a reason that Surefoot has so many locations, they know what they’re doing.
